When Gérard Chambre informed me about his contribution on this beautiful project called « Les Jardins de Lumière » is was already obvious for me, to create a special page on his website, for such a marvelous and precious event.
 
For the charity concert on 19 September 2011 at "Le Divan du Monde, Gérard Chambre has written the chanson "Les Jardins de Lumière" with which he will premiere at that Beneficence Concert ! Together with all the other artists it will surely be a splendid and unforgettable and touching happening.
 
As a side note, I would like to mention that it is not the first time that Gérard Chambre has shown a very generous heart for a charity project. Last year, while he was on tour with « Brel pour toujours » he spontaneously wrote six chansons «Refrains Souriants» for the children of Pnohm Penh. Personally I had been very moved by his report about the situation in Cambodia. Children who must dig in litter near the airport, to get something to eat!
 
I am sure, Gerard rarely talks about his contribution to humanity. For him it goes without saying, everybody does their part. Why not follow his beautiful example in supporting also the association of « Les Jardins de Lumière »? Be it to attend the charity concert in Paris - or in giving a donation to the organization of that unique project!
